Alpha D3 is used to treat conditions in which calcium metabolism is disturbed due to impaired hydroxylation, such as reduced renal function as well as in other disorders associated with Vitamin D resistance and in calcium malabsorption of osteoporosis.

Alfacalcidol tablets are used to treat the following indications: Renal bone disease (renal osteodystrophy), Hypoparathyroidism, Hyperparathyroidism (with bone disease)- primary and tertiary, Neonatal hypocalcemia, Rickets,osteomalacia and Osteoporosis .

Alpha-D3 tablets are given as a dietary vitamin D supplement to help patients manage calcium levels in their body. It is used to help with a variety of health conditions such as, osteoporosis, neonatal hypocalcaemia, osteomalacia, rickets, hyperparathyroidism associated with bone disease (both tertiary and primary), and renal bone disease (osteodystrophy)

Alpha D3 Tablets Dosage

Alfacalcidol should not be administered to patients in the presence of hypercalcemia, hyperphosphatemia (except when occurring with hypoparathyroidism) or hypermagnesemia.
